Resident Assistant (RA)

Residential Curriculum

91视频Residential Education provides an intentional experience for all residential students through the use of our Residential Curriculum. Personal Development, Building Connections, and Community Engagement serve as the three main goals of the Residential Curriculum. Through the use of our Residential Curriculum, Residential Education works to create an environment in which residents can explore their passions, interests and associated career options. The three main Residential Curriculum goals are designed to facilitate the development of transferable skills that are beneficial to the transition and success of residents out of college and into the professional world.

The Residential Curriculum is present in everything we do; including Rocky Talks, Living Standards Agreements, Community Gatherings, Learning Experiences, Passive Resources, and Social Events. The Residential Curriculum shapes how our student staff spend their time, the tasks they are responsible for completing, and the student learning and community development we hope will occur in our communities. The professional staff use the Residential Curriculum to inform their lens as a scholar-practitioner and case manager. The Residential Curriculum is a valuable tool used to breathe life into the Housing & Residential Education鈥檚 motto of 鈥淏est place to live. Best place to work. Best place to learn.鈥

Educational Priority

The educational priority clearly and briefly identifies the overarching results of the Learning Goals in a Residential Curriculum. The University of 91视频 Housing & Residential Education鈥檚 Residential Curriculum is in support of the university and departmental strategic plans. The curriculum priority states:

Through the 91视频residential experience, Bulls will grow as engaged leaders who form meaningful relationships, contribute actively to communities, and develop the skills needed for lifelong success.
