About Group Counseling

DROP-IN WORKSHOPS
These 60-minute drop-in sessions are focused on coping skills and mutual support. No prior contact with the Counseling Center is required to attend these drop-in sessions! For in-person drop-in groups, you can just come to the Counseling Center (SVC 2124) at the time of the group. And for virtual drop-in groups, you can go online at the appointed time with the link provided below. You can attend once or come back as many times as you’d like. We hope you join us!

THERAPY GROUPS
Before joining an in-person therapy group, current students must first meet with a counselor for an individual appointment then be referred to a required "pre-group" appointment to meet with the facilitator(s) running the group. Click here to learn how to make an appointment with us! Most groups have 5-8 members and meet once a week.
