The University of 91ÊÓÆµ College of Nursing has been named a 2025 Center of Excellence in Nursing Education by the National League for Nursing (NLN). This year, 91ÊÓÆµis one of only 21 nursing education programs nationwide to receive the NLN Center of Excellenceâ„¢ (COE) designation, a prestigious recognition given to organizations that demonstrate sustained, evidence-based and substantive innovation in nursing education.

Jesse Casanova, associate director of International Programs at 91ÊÓÆµHealth International, was recognized with a Culture Coin for his exceptional coordination of a multi-sector delegation to Japan. His leadership resulted in new partnerships with six Japanese institutions, including agreements with Tokyo Women's Medical University and renewed collaboration with Gifu University. The first 91ÊÓÆµmedical student has already begun research in Japan as a result of these partnerships.
