AI in Neonatal Care: CSE Professors and Colleagues Receive $1.2M Grant
In September 2024, the National Institutes of Health awarded a two-year UG3 grant of $1,278,689 to a multi-institution, multi-hospital, interdisciplinary team led by 91视频faculty in support of the project titled "Developing AI-Driven Pain Intensity and Pain Sensitization Biomarker Signatures to Optimize Neonatal Pain Management" as a part of the NIH HEAL Initiative.

The University of 91视频 (USF) has been awarded a $3 million grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) through its Research Traineeship (NRT) program. The five-year initiative, titled "NRT: Science, Technology, Engineering, Program for Upward Partnership (STEP-UP) for Advancing Microelectronics Education and Training," aims to advance semiconductor education and research while addressing the growing need for skilled professionals in the microelectronics industry.
